Hello lovely readers!
I am taking my time off from homework and revision (the fact is, I didn't do any revision today blah). So I woke up at 1pm (lawl) but I still managed to finish my essay on Human Rights and 2/3 of my Maths homework. Still not productive, enough.
Anyway, I chose not to go out for movie with the fam because I am running out of time for my homework. I am seriously getting more and more boring, thanks to A-levels ^.^
Okay, so, Macau trip! I spent more than 2 hours uploading these pictures so you guys better read my post and....click my ads. Haha, joking!
Day 1
Our flight was at 6:30am so we had to go to LCCT (I miss going to KLIA, by the way) around 4-ish. So couldn't be bothered with my physical appearance at 4am so I decided to go with four eyes.
Had McD breakfast at LCCT because that was like the only restaurant operating but it was really packed though.
Waiting....and waiting....
Dad in his long sleeve tshirt because he said it would be really cold on the plane.
Err....I didn't notice the absence of heat on the place, really...
Tiny little people.
Malaysia looks so pretty at 7am!
Dad order this sandwich for me as breakfast but I didn't even have any appetite. I mean, I wouldn't eat anything at 7am....that was way too early for my body to function properly.
Reached Macau around 10 something and we got on this mini shuttle bus from the airplane....to the terminal, which was really pointless because it would only take us 3 minutes if we were to walk.
Lining up in front of the immigration counter. I was talking how I dislike certain Chinese (read: from China) and my dad was like, Shhh you would be banned from China if someone heard you. Lolol.
This is my awesome orange suitcase. It's not mine actually wtf. I begged my younger sister for 30 minutes the day before the trip and she finally couldn't stand me and agreed to let me use it! Yay!
Took taxi from the airport to Regency Hotel. Omg the taxis in Macau have automatic doors! So it opens and close automatically! I couldn't get used to it though, maybe I am more suitable to sit in the taxi from Malaysia lol.
Tourists from China blablabla.
Erh, as you can see, my younger sister is not really a good photographer.
Checking in. But one of the our rooms were available so we just put our luggage there first. And I had to change into shorts because the weather in Macau was so freaking hot.
Took the hotel's shuttle bus to Macau Peninsular! The best part of the shuttle bus? It's free!
Oh the tallest building there is Macau Tower :) Looks just like our KL tower lolol.
Finding our way to Senado Square but Dad left my maps and all my researches in the hotel room so we took quite long to figure out the way.
Saw a post office when we were walking towards Senado Square. So. freaking. beautiful.
So we walked in because Dad wanted to check out the stamps. I raised my camera and snapped a picture and someone yelled at me. Spot the lady on the left side of the picture?
Lolol she was pointing at me and said, "Mm hor yi yeng xiong!". It means, Cannot take photo, in Cantonese.
My sister and I freaked out and ran away hahaha.
Reached Senado Square, Macau's urban center! Plenty of people there since it was Saturday.
This was where I started being pushed and hit by people wtf.
I took so many photos at Senado Square but I left out the fountain! It's one of the major landmarks in Macau.
Ahaha I have such a brilliant memory, not.
Excuse my hair please. After being an ant in a huge crowd, messiness of hair is an understatement.
I was overjoyed to find this restaurant though! Read loads of reviews on Wing Chi Kei on the internet and people who have been to Macau said that this restaurant is a must-try!
So we took our number and waited for our turn then something embarrassing happened.....
There was this Japanese guy standing beside us, looking really puzzled and confused because the waitress there was shouting out the number in Cantonese. My sister told me that his number was 20. So I was like, Oh I could help him out!
Then when the lady shouted "20!". I quickly told the guy that it was his turn and turned out......his number was 25. /facepalm. I was so embarrassed because everyone was looking and the Japanese dude looked even more confused than ever lolol.
The menu. Apparently they specialise in congee and noodles, heh.
Another crappy photo of myself, talking to my mum.
I think I was telling her that Jocelyn must be really jealous of us, ehehe.
But I am not a fan of congee, at all, so I ordered this egg noodle soup with dumplings in it. The dumplings tasted sooo nice and there were prawns in the dumplings! Or are they wantons?
Done with our lunch and continued exploring Senado Square...
Packed with tourists. I felt like I was in a sardines can and I was a really tiny sardine fish.
Typical tourist photo lolol.
Inside Dominic's Church (I had to do some googling to find the name of this church haha)
There were people praying and all so I just quickly snapped a photo and left, heh.
Continued walking and walking and walking and guess what I saw?!
St. Paul's Ruins!
Ehehe I was so excited because it was one of the Macau attractions that I wanted to visit, mainly because I've seen it on tv for so many times.
Heck, look at the crowd.
Enlarge this picture and you can see two dudes camwhoring. Hahaha I couldn't stop laughing when I saw them so I was like, "Must snap this down!"
Climbing the staircase up was such an ordeal process because so many people were taking photos (of themselves, ehem).
Mmkay, the crypt entrance. I was so scared to enter lolol.
But nothing exciting in it, just plain boring stuff. So disappointed because it wasn't even scary! I thought I could scream a bit or something haha.
Walking up to the fortress.
Nearly fell down for a few times here wtf.
Hello.
Good bye, St. Paul! You look better in real life than on tv :)
Uh, random.
Waffles in Macau are so cute!......and tasteless. I think I was only eating flour wtf.
Dad and Mum :)
.....being lovey-dovey and leaving their daughters behind wtf.
The administration building in Macau.
See, got an angmoh standing there! Hehe.
We just lingered around the city and uh....shopped. Dad bought another pair of Nike sports shoes so I think he has at least 4 pairs of Nike now. Marathon addict tsk tsk tsk.
Went back to hotel to get some rest because my younger sister was getting sleepy. And because four of us woke up at 3am wtf.
Fooling around in the room....instead of sleeping.
LOLOLOLOL.
Another self-destructing image.
Went out again at night and we headed to......
Hard Rock Hotel in Macau is so freaking awesome......
.......because I could see loads of angmoh. LOL.
Wanted to take a photo of the mermaid show but a China man just HAD to walk past me and block the view. Pft.
Feeling so.....left out. /sniff
Attempt #1
Attempt #2, even worse.
Attempt #3, no improvement.
Finally had to succumb to flashlight and it worked and then I looked like crap.
Venetian Macau is just opposite Hard Rock Hotel and see, it looks so gorgeous!
Tower.
Tower with two Malaysians. (Sorry this is such a lame caption, haha)
Pretty, right? .....wait until you see the interior.
TA-DA!
Eheh, I like this picture the most, because I look thin. And I hardly look thin wtf.
I wish Dad booked the rooms from this hotel instead! It looks so fucking beautiful......with a lot of China Chinese, no joke.
Tourists from either China/Taiwan asking for Dad's help to take photo.
But they were using Canon camera so yeah, I doubt the quality of the photo, ehehe. #nikonftw
And it was shopping time!
Most beautiful shopping mall, ever.
Grand Canal Shoppes!
So fucking beautiful, hur hur.
(I know I've repeated this for kazillion times.)
And GUESS WHAT I SAW IN THIS SHOPPING MALL?!!?!
IT WAS THE MOST FUCKING AMAZING SHOP EVERN.
.....I will reveal it tomorrow.
Shall let your curiousity hanging there first, ehehe.
Shopped until 11pm and it was time to head back to our hotel!
Sooo many people lining up for taxi service.
Things that we bought on the first day :)
Oh no, see, a hint over there, ehehehe.
I shall end this post with....
....a picture of Marilyn in her hotel room, wtf.
Till then!
PS: I took 3 hours type this post wtf.
