EVERYONE SHOULD BREAK UP
Tuesday, July 5, 2011

......lol jk.

You know the awkward moment when your horoscope sign says "Your boyfriend....." and you are like, "Lulz wut bf?"

I HATE ALL THE COUPLES AROUND ME. But no, don't break up!

PS: Esther kept saying that my SNSD shirt is ugly wtf.

Michelle just said that I have become boring and serious now. I blame A-levels. The Marilyn back in secondary school wasn't THIS plain and boring. But I just feel like I should stop fooling around and really take A-levels seriously because this means, almost, everything to me (My dad is so gonna give me a lecture on this if he sees this).

You know how people say, "When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place." And think more of the exciting things that are gonna take place after my AS!

#1: Year-end trip!
#2: Trip with friends (please let this happen please please please I am so ridiculously excited for this)
#3: My birthday! (Fish says we must go MOS. Or Library. Not like I am against it!)
#4: AS results.........
#5: ....that A-levels is coming to an end, ehehehe.

With Amanda! She is so freaking smart and her spm results totally put Esther and I to shame.
My B for Chemistry seems to become an E in a sudden.....

OMG THEY ARE ON TV!!!

We were walking from BAC2 to KL Sentral and I saw this lady holding a microphone and the cameraman so I was like, omgomg we are on tv! But she just walked past us and went on to interview Dave and i-cannot-remember-your-name.

I was like, Why are they so racist?! /sniff. But another guy told us that they were interviewing about Tamil language, haha. Esther was like, what are you going to say about Tamil?! Oh well, hee.

Then we passed by the monorail station and saw this banner.......

People from RapidKL were having surveys then I asked them, Kami boleh tulis tak?
Only people like us would voluntarily spend time on this kind of stuff haha.

Even took a picture of my form......
We seriously had nothing better to do lol.

Esther forgot to do the same thing so she went back and asked for her form hahahaha.
I swear the workers were so amused by us, no joke!

I look weird here...but whatever!
People who passed by were all looking and staring at us haha. Why do we always act like we are tourists?
Because we can.

Went to Hot & Roll for lunch.

Esther with her chapati. It wasn't filling enough so we ordered again.....paratha full of.....cheese......so......delicious.

Esther said this is my starving face.
So now you know I look horrible when I am hungry, haha.

Then we went for the first mag meeting. Ms. Sabah assumed that everyone was there for the writer position so I told her that I wanted to try out the graphic designing part ._. It's not like I despise writing. I love writing! But not....right....now. I've had enough essays to deal with right now.

.....but anything for my personal statement :3

Esther was combing her hair which explains the disappearance of her face in this picture haha.
This is my phone wallpaper by the way :)

This is Esther's phone wallpaper :)
.....actually I changed for her hahah.

Gonna go do my law notes now. OMG I FORGOT I HAVE POETRY CLASS TOMORROW I HAVEN'T DOUBLE READ PARENTS POEM OK BYEBYE.

Am I boring you guys? :(
I really hope not. I don't wanna to become dull Marilyn!

Macau/Hong Kong trip ; Day 2
Monday, July 4, 2011

Supposed to be doing my piano work but then it is so tedious that I decided to blog about my Hong Kong shopping trip instead. I am going regret for procrastinating but uh......I will sort it out later.

Okay so, second day!

My sister actually woke up earlier than me even though I set like, freaking 15 alarms but they were totally useless because I just turned them off and continued sleeping wtf. Then I woke up like, 20 minutes later than my sister and had to rush like a mad woman. Will I ever learn my lesson?

Hello. Good morning from Macau.

Had buffet for breakfast at the hotel! And I only ate cereal with raisins.......
what a waste LOL.

Took a taxi to the Macau ferry terminal after our breakfast

and my parents, being the world's biggest worriers, were so concerned that we might miss our ferry so we reached the terminal 45 mins earlier.

This is my ferry ticket!
Sorry for the webcam picture because I forgot to use my camera to take a photo of it. And sorry to cover my face because I was eating cornflakes lol.

Inside the ferry blah I hate ferry. Because I have seasickness.
And I was surrounded by so many China tourists, those annoying ones, really.

Thank god the chinese kid sitting beside me was kinda enough to not make any noises or I would definitely punch someone. That shows how annoyed I was.

Simply snapped a picture of the interior of the ferry then I just dosed off.

The whole journey took about an hour and we reached Hong Kong at 10am. Woohoo! So excited to start shopping!

Didn't really take loads of picture of the scenery because....been there, done that. Heh.

You know sometimes your parents being too lovey-dovey and totally ignore their kids.
Yes, I feel your pain /sniff

Finding our way to The Landmark. I totally love the streets' names in Hong Kong.
Des Voeux Road, sounds so classy! Unlike....Jalan Raja Chulan.....

Here's a friendly tip to those who want to travel to Hong Kong in the future:

-Don't go out on Sundays. I felt like I was in Philippine instead of in Hong Kong because the streets were flooded with those Filipino maids! Not that I despise them or anything but I could barely even walk past them! I had to hold my sister's hand so that none of us would get lost in the crowd, you know....our heights and all.

I thought I was in London lolol.

So overjoyed to find The Landmark after walking and making our way through the huge crowd but Mum wasn't really keen on shopping for branded stuff at that moment so we just moved on to our next destination.

Biggest Coach store I've seen, so far!
My dad was like, Eh why you no take picture of this huge store? Wtf.
I was like, Alright.............

And here comes the most exciting store!!!!!
 H&M
OMG I WAS SO HAPPY MY HEART JUST STOPPED BEATING I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO SHOP IN H&M SINCE FOREVER (Not really, since last year after my Korea trip lol).

I just threw my camera to dad and barged in the store and ended up staying in there for like, 2 hours /facepalm. But who doesn't like Summer Sales?!

Then we came out from H&M and I didn't know where to go wtf. It was like, I just completed the biggest goal of my life and did not know what else to do. I am such a pathetic shopper. Heh.

Then we saw two ladies carrying Cotton On plastic bags so I decided to ask them lol. I spoke in Cantonese to them! I meant, broken and funny Cantonese.

Another friendly tip! Everything in Cotton On in Hong Kong is 10% cheaper than in Malaysia! So if you are a Cotton On fanatic, it's basically heaven there for you. Too bad I was not.

Me. Sister. Mum.
For once I wasn't left behind, ehehe.

Hong Kong is like the Asia version of New York.
Forever busy and buzzing. Expect the same from the citizens there. Met so many unfriendly people which made me miss Malaysia more!

TurboJet ferry. Fantastic service but I still hate ferry.

Waiting for our turn to go back to Macau!

A lady from Hong Kong tourism board approached us while we were waiting to do some surveys and stuff. And guess what?! The lady has been to Malaysia before! And she loved it here! She even dined in OldTown before and showed us a picture of herself in Malaysia, haha. Woohoo, Malaysia boleh!

Reached Macau at night and I was pretty much shattered and knackered but parents still insisted to head out for dinner.
and thank god they did!
The food served here was so delicious so it's a must-go if anyone is going to Macau, do pay a visit to this restaurant!

Did I tell you that my love for Chinese food is growing lately?
I have been constantly craving for food from dragon-i. And not to forget.....waffles.

Ohhh, did I see "Malaysian"?

Oh, look!

Heh heh. Instantly felt so proud to be a Malaysia.
I sometimes think that I am too patriotic, in a weird way.

Cannot-remember-the-name-but-the-dumplings-were-yummy.

Cannot-remember-the-name-#2-but-yummy-too.

Fried rice lah.

Fried noodles lah.

Walking back to our hotel. The streets are so eerily quiet at night! Totally opposed to the scenario in Malaysia, which is another reason why I love Malaysia.
Apparently our hotel was located nearby to Macau Stadium but I didn't get to visit it!
Did I also tell you that I have a thing for stadiums? I swear it has something to do with my love for football.

Back in our hotel room after a long and exhausting day and instead of packing, I chose to watch CSI. I could watch it here in Malaysia actually but yeah, just another excuse for procrastinating.

Things that we bought in Hong Kong! Surprisingly, not as much as I expected.
Did I ALSO tell you that I love Pretz? My sister and I ransacked the whole Okashiland and grabbed every single Pretz that we could find, heh.

PS: So if you are in other countries next time and you have no idea what to buy for me.....yeah....Pretz.

Finally started to pack and trying to stuff everything into my tiny, little, cute, orange luggage (just like me, lolol jk).

I was having a hard time to pack everything up because 1) my room was pretty messy. 2) I bought so many useless things like, five bottles of shampoos haha. 3) I kept getting distracted.

So both of us used like, 2 hours for packing, haha.

Okay, that's it. I should blog about day 3 as soon as possible (as in, I don't know when). I like blogging//talking about my trip. It makes me feel happy and nostalgic. That's why I can't wait for this year end! Our plan better works! Hee.

Anyway, I was just uh, being bored and trying out new hairstyle....

Middle/center parting lolol.
What do you think? My younger sister thinks I look like crap and better stick to side fringe, so meh.

Oh god, 1:35am now and I have not touched my piano work.
See you soon, lovely people!
